The Division 2's End Game Faction Called The Black Tusk

Ubisoft has now detailed the Division 2's end game faction called The Black Tusk so today we will be telling everything that you need to know about it. The end faction comes after you have finished the main campaign and will basically undo all of the hard work that you did to make Washington, DC a safe place. Ubisoft announced that pre-orders on PC will get to choose one of three games: Ghost Recon Wildlands, Far Cry Primal, or Watch Dogs 2. All pre-orders made before March 14 will be eligible, and the offer works retroactively if you've already pre-ordered. You can head over to the offer page to redeem your code. If you're undecided, you have until March 31 to make a selection.

As part of Ubisoft's latest round of mostly positive financial reports (which, unlike Activision, were not accompanied by massive layoffs) CEO Yves Guillemot shed a little light on the publisher's decision to thumb its nose at Steam and make The Division 2 exclusive to the Uplay and Epic stores. In his words, it's not just about the smaller cut Epic takes, or whatever up-front money may or may not have changed hands as part of Epic's fulsome attempts to ring-fence big names within its new store.

The Division 2's private beta came to a close this past weekend, but the game will soon be available for more people to check out pre-launch. Ubisoft has announced that a public beta will begin March 1 through March 4. It seems likely that the public beta will cover the same content that private beta players had access to during those recent preview periods. This should include a few early-game campaign missions and a brief tour through the game's first Dark Zone area, as well as one endgame Invaded mission. The private beta also included access to all three of The Division 2's end game specializations, which will likely make their way to the public beta.

Ubisoft has yet to officially announce an open beta for The Division 2, of course, but the reveal is hardly surprising. During a livestream on the game's official Twitch channel, one of the hosts said some of the bugs seen in the private beta will be fixed in the open beta. The Division's Twitch channel has been running 24/7 livestreams since the start of the private beta, with members of the development team, QA and community all taking turns running the show.

The Black Tusk faction will establish new strongholds all over the map and they are tougher than anyone else in the game. This special faction comes with everything that's needed to take over including high-tech robot dogs and armed drones. The latest released trailer here shows us what they are actually capable of. Ubisoft also recently announced that an open beta is coming for The Division 2, running from March 1-4 on all platforms. That would leave you plenty of time to sample and decide if you want to take part in the pre-order offer.
